The friendliness of the staff and clientel, the quirkyness of the surroundings and the central location all added to a truly fantastic stay. Loved the live music, and the breakfasts were great!

Individual design and very original decoration of building. The staff were very helpful and friendly. One of the rooms was a Fringe venue, which proved very convenient.
Dislikes:
Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, people need to be aware that the hotel is an entertainment venue and it can be very noisy into the early hours.

The staff were very helpful,and always had a smile on their face.....and for a change the weather was great.
Dislikes:
The only down side was that we were unfortunate to be staying at the same time as a birthday celebration which took place in the function room directly below our room..but it did finish at 1am .

When we returned from our evening was shocked to find a nightclub on the first floor. Thankfully we were in Room 3 and was pretty sound proof. Would not have been happy if was to hear the nightclub all night long. Read less

Location excellent just 5 minute walk from waverley station. Room beautiful.
Dislikes:
The nightclub on the first floor and cleaniness of the bar. Tables could have done with a wipe with a CLEAN cloth.
