The large room with plenty of space for your luggage etc. Also the added bonus of a kitchen with fridge and microwave complete with jars of coffee tea and milk.
Good food. Live music every night.

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The room exceeded my expectations (I pay a very good price), the deco was great. I had also nice views from the window. The bathroom was huge.... Read more

Pretty room, nice views.
Huge tv in room, freeview.
Excellent breakfast, very tasty.
Dislikes:
Room located 3 floors up, no lift.
Bathroom had 5 light spots but 3 didn't work, it was dark.
Bin in room dirty outside & inside.
Cup for tea sticked to plates, not clean.
No shampoo & toothp pro

Wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and chose Edinburgh for a change. Looking for something Central as we were going to the Playhouse the previous night. We decided at last minute to extend our stay (daughter had booked our accomodation for the previous night). Wife picked this and it more than met our expectations. The room was well laid out and the en suite facilities were beyond approach. All in all an excellent place for a short break. Read less

Very hard to pick something as a standout but if we had to pick it would be the food which was superb. Neither of us could finish the breakfast owing to the quantity on our plates.
Dislikes:
Only negative we had was the number of stairs to our room. My wife suffers from Angina and stuggled a bit to get up the final flight.

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Edinburgh. The rooms were gorgeous - there are only 4 of them and that might be why the staff treat you so well. Cant wait to visit again.
